Course Overview:

Braintree's course is made up of a loop around the high school, and a small loop around the the track. It finishes at the end of the track, just as a track race would. Depending on whether you are in the JV or Varsity race, you will do two laps around the building, then a track loop, or three laps around the building, then a track loop, respectively. It is a very flat course that is mostly concrete. There are no real tight spaces to be worried about when running with a pack.

Rocky Downhill

Rocky Downhill

Once you make the hairpin turn, there is a slight uphill for about 30 meters, then a steep downhill coming off of it. There are a lot of roots and small rocks on the downhill, making the grip loose and a bit dangerous
