Varsity Race Distance: 2 Loops, 5,020m (5.02km, 3.12 miles)

Course Overview:

Framingham's course is a very balanced course, with a variation of hills, terrain, and tree cover. The race starts in an open field, and the runners weave around trees until they reach the end of the park. They then run on a long stretch of grass, onto an aqueduct right next to the pond. They run along the pond for about a 3/4 of a mile until they reach a wooded area where they follow a wood-chip and dirt trail as it weaves through the trees and comes out where the race starts. The JV race ends a bit past the exit of the woods while the Varsity race ends in the same place, just after another loop.

Hills

Hills

At the back end of the open field that the race begins on, there are some rolling hills that weave through the trees. None of the hills are that dramatic, there are just a couple to change up the elevation. One of them goes up a little gravel path, but besides that the rest are all grass and dirt

Woods

At the end of the loop, the race enters the woods on a wood-chip-covered dirt trail. The trail is very soft and weaves through the woods with a lot of sharp turns. The woods last a little less than half a mile, and come out right at the starting line.
