Course Overview:
Newton's course starts in a field, and run around the perimeter onto a path the leads into the woods. Most of the course is a trail through the woods, so it is mostly shaded from the sun. The trail is narrow for a good amount of the race, only allowing 2-3 runners across at once. There is not much variation in the terrain, the course is mostly a dirt path with a bit of gravel. There is not much elevation change, only one small hill back in the woods. The race ends on a stretch on the field.

Fence
Fence
Fence
After the opening stretch on the field, runners must take a left behind this fence. It is very narrow and a sharp turn, so it can get very congested right at the beginning of the race.

Bridge
Bridge
A little bit into the woods, there is a small bridge that crosses the creek. It is only about 2 runners wide, so again, be wary of the narrowness of the course.
Hill
Hill
Near the back end of the loop, there is a short, steep hill that goes up and crosses a dead-end road. There will be no cars to worry about.
