Hill
Hill
At the beginning of the race, there is a hill that the Varsity race runs 3 times and the JV race runs twice. It's not the steepest hill, but it is run on soft grass.
Fence
Fence
Right after the hill, there is a fence that racers must run around to get back onto the soccer field. There is only enough space for one person to round this fence at a time.
Mud
Mud
At the beginning of the race, the runners must run through a dirt parking lot that gets very wet and muddy. There are a lot of large puddles scattered throughout the parking lot
Narrow
Narrowness
A little bit into the race, the trail gets very narrow, especially when the trees are still full, so not many runners can fit through at once, causing some congestion.
